About the Role

St Catherine's School is seeking enthusiastic and committed Old Girls to join the 2025-26 Rowing Program as Rowing Mentors, supporting students by sharing their skills, experience, and love of rowing. Working closely with students, mentors focus on building positive relationships, strengthening mindset and confidence, and supporting girls in balancing school, sport, and wellbeing. Rowing Mentors play a key role in creating an inclusive and connected rowing community, helping students enjoy their time in the program, develop healthy habits, and navigate both personal and sporting challenges while exploring future pathways in rowing.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

• Former student of St Catherine’s School with rowing experience in the School Rowing Program.
• Strong understanding of rowing technique, training expectations, and regatta processes.
• Positive role model with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring young students and contributing to their development.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the coaching team.
• Ability to uphold the School’s values and promote a respectful, inclusive sporting culture.
• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
